• Hospice care neither hastens death or prolongs one’s life. Skirball Hospice simply allows nature to take its course; we do this by making the patient as comfortable as possible with their particular disease process.
• Skirball Hospice is open to all people of different faiths and beliefs.
• Bereavement support is offered to all of our bereaved families at no cost.
• Skirball Hospice provides care wherever the patient calls home, such as a board and care, assisted living facility, private residence and even a skilled nursing facility.
• Skirball Hospice works with a variety of payors such as Medicare, Medi-Cal, and most private insurance companies.
• No one is denied hospice care due to the inability to pay for services.
